Schott & Associates (S&A) is a small environmental consulting firm founded in 1993 by Martin Schott, Ph.D., PWS and was acquired by Jodi Forgione in 2020. S&A specializes in providing professional natural resource services to businesses and government agencies. We have extensive experience and a broad portfolio of completed projects, S&A provides certainty that our clients will more easily and efficiently obtain their development objectives and comply with environmental regulations.

Jodi Forgione
Principal - Wetland Ecologist & Wildlife Biologist
Jodi Forgione joined Schott & Associates in March 2014 and acquired the business in 2020. Since joining Schott & Associates she has worked on over 200 projects which involve wetland delineation, wetland monitoring, wetland functions assessments, wildlife habitat assessments and bird surveys. She is proficient at following protocols to meet local, state and federal standards while establishing and maintaining effective communications with clients and regulators.
As the business owner, Jodi oversees daily business activities including financial records, staffing, and project coordination. Jodi graduated with a Bachelor’s degree from Oregon State University in Fisheries and Wildlife.
Prior to joining Schott & Associates, Jodi conducted a variety of wildlife surveys for; spotted owls, great gray owls, woodpeckers, and various other bird species. She has also inventoried habitat and special status species by following set standards and guidelines.
